This is a cop story. About how detective John Stallings catches a serial killer known as the Bagman. Stallings is a good cop, but he looses his family in the end. This is an action packed read, and I think that there may be a follow up book to this one.

Baby Blanket

I knit a little baby blanket for my future Grandson. He is due in September. I am so excited for another baby to become a member of our family. I knit this blanket using Grandmother's favorite Dishcloth pattern. Which can be found here It is a quick easy pattern. And sure to be a nice warm blanket for the baby. I used Red Heart kids yarn, in the color , Crayon. I know that this little blanket can be washed and dried for years, and years to come and never wear out!

This is Agatha Christie's first novel. It is an entertaining detective mystery. A very enjoyable mystery, where Hercule Poirot discovers who the murderer is, early on in the investigation. But doesn't let the reader know, until the very end of the Who Done it!!

I promise that you will get Detective Fever if you read this book. It is an exciting mystery, and a delightful romance with a happy ending.

Glacial Gauntlets of the Wolf

I so enjoyed knitting these Gauntlets. this is my first beaded knitting project. I knit these Gauntlets as part of a KAL with some of my knitting friends. Knitting with beads is soooooo very EASY! I just love the way that they turned out! I used Knit Pics Palette in the color French Lavender, and pink beads. The knitting pattern can be found here

Matt's Very First Brand New Bike

This is my husband's very first Brand New Bike. He is a very frugal man, and hardly ever buys anything new for himself. And he doesn't often let me buy anything new for him either. He is always one to buy things used and at a bargain price. Any way , we have been married 30 this year on March 21st. I of course wanted to buy him an Anniversary gift. He is very difficult to buy for. He never needs or wants any thing. So he wouldn't let me buy anything thing for him either. No need to waste the money.
Well he had an old used bike that he got for free. Finally the tire on the bike blew out and he needed a new tire for his old , used free bike. He shopped around and priced a new tire for his old used, free, bike and it was going to be $30.00 for a new tire. There was no way he was going to spend $30.00 for a new tire for his bike.
So I jumped at the chance to buy him a gift. And he let me buy him a Brand New bike. the first brand new bike he has ever had in his life. He is 59 years old. I am sure that his brand new bike will last him for the rest of his life!!

If there is one thing that I know about babies, it is that you need a LOT of bibs. I have knit another bib for my Grand baby that will be born in the Fall. This pattern also came from The Booklet Dishcloth Hangups for 2009.

Sunfire handspun yarn

This yarn is inspired by nature. The Beautiful red glow of the setting sun. I call this Superwash Merino wool Sun Fire. I hand dyed this wool with gold, orange, and scarlet. To get the glow of the setting sun. It is 174 yards of wool at 13 WPI this is a DK weight yarn. This yarn will not felt.
