Lucky Spirale Scarf

I just LOVE my new scarf! It is the Lucky Spirale Scarf, an English translation of the German pattern Glucksspirale.  I used Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn , in the color Parrot. I used size 8 knitting needles. It is a very easy pattern to knit, and I think that it looks Great!!! the pattern for this scarf can be found here  .

Armor All is Good Stuff

We are preparing to go on vacation next week. My husband changed the oil in my car. I vacuumed and cleaned the inside of the car. I wanted to use Armor All on the inside of my car to clean it up a bit more. My husband told me that he had some Armor All in the garage. After a bit of hunting around in the garage he found the Armor All. The bottle says that it Protects & Beautifies. I want the inside of my car Beautified. So I use the Armor All, and it does the trick! We bought this Armor All in 1988 from Lewis Drugs for $1.29. It is Good Stuff!!

Art Journal Tag

From my studio today. An Art Journal Tag. I did a bit of Zentangle, colored with colored pencils, blended with mineral spirits. Stained the tag, put a bit of paint on the tag, and embellished the tag a bit.

Options Slippers

I think that this has become my very favorite slipper pattern. It is easy to knit, the slippers are warm, and they fit like a glove. I knit these slippers with two strands of yarn held together, I used Red Heart Super Saver in the colors Real Teal, and Pumpkin. The pattern for these slippers can be found here
I am for sure going to knit more of these slippers!!!

Junk Journal/ Smash Book

A Fun little Junk Journal/Smash Book, that I made from a manila file folder, decorative papers, and an envelope. I am going to use it to put photos, and journal in, when we go on vacation later this month.

My new winter scarf

I shopped my stash for this scarf. I had to use 1 skein of acrylic, I Love this yarn , in the ombre color called Summer Happens.  My second skein is Lamb's Pride  from the Brown sheep co. It is 85% wool, and 15% mohair. It is a solid pink color. the Name of the pattern that I used is Just Knit it. The pattern for this scarf can be found here. I Love the colors, and the way that this scarf turned out. My neck is going to be toasty warm this winter.
