Art Journal Page

Today's Art Journal page is a Mixed Media Collage.

My New Art Journal

I made myself a new art journal. It is a smaller journal, which I think will be perfect for me. I made the cover from canvas, that I painted , and stamped the words follow your art on the front of the journal. I used different sizes and different kinds of paper. It has 2 signatures, and 36 pages. I know that I am going to enjoy this art journal.

Zentangle

Cute Paper Pumpkin

I made this cute paper Pumpkin in about 10 minutes. I love it! I followed this Graphic 45 tutorial.

Journal

I made this fun little journal with a 9" x 12" manila envelope. I painted the envelope them embellished it with colorful tape, a ladybug stamp, and flowers that I punched out. It has only 1 signature, 26 pages. I used  a few pieces of designer paper, and copy paper. I added a few paper beads to the tails of the thread that I bound the journal with. This is a gift for a friend.

Options Slippers

I just Love this slipper pattern. I knit the top and the sole, then crocheted the pieces together. They fit perfectly! Because they are knit with 2 strands of yarn held together they are so very warm! I used Red heart Boutique unforgettable yarn in the color Dragonfly. Because I fell in Love

I have joined a group at Artgeeks.ning. The group is Finish in Five. In this group you use 5 products or techniques and your imagination to make an Art Journal page. This is my first Finish in Five art journal page. The five things that I used are a napkin, stamp, stickers, book page, and a butterfly embellishment.

Watercolor

I bought a 2014 Watercolor Lesson Calendar. A lesson on every page of this calendar. I am going to enjoy learning watercolor from the many, many pages of this calendar!!!

Mixed Media Journal

I made a 5" x 7" Mixed media Collage. Then I used the collage to make a cover for a journal that I made. I like the way that it turned out.

Slippers for my Granddaughter

I knit these slippers for my Granddaughter. It is Aunt Maggie's Slipper pattern. The pattern can be found here .
This is a Quick, Easy, and warm pair of slippers. I used 2 strands of yarn held together. I used I Love this yarn in the color Summer happens.
