I painted the body of the snowman and the snow flakes with Liquitex modeling paste to give it a more snow like texture.

From my knitting needles today

I have a new pair of socks. Just a basic sock pattern, knit on size 1 needles, top down. I used Deborah Norville Serenity Garden yarn, in the color Crocus. The pattern for this pair of socks can be found here  .

Mixed Media 5" x 7"

I had Fun making this mixed media piece. I cut up a Gelli print for the border. I used
Tim Holtz tissue wrap for the background.  Used Liquitex modeling paste and a stencil to make the bird in the center. I cut up one of my Zentangle's into a heart and added that to the mix. I embellished with Tiny Text sticker's and metal hearts in the top right corner. Lot's of color, fun and Texture in this piece. :)
