4 x 4 Mixed Media Pink and Black

For this mixed media project, I painted the background black. Then I tore some pink designer paper, and put that over the background. I added a paper flower, and some pink and black paper beads. I think that it turned out great. I am Happy with this little project!

Paper Flower Bouquet

I made this Beautiful Flower Bouquet with the glass bottle that I bought at a garage sale yesterday, paper beads, seed beads, imaginisce paper flowers, and some twine. I Love the way that my bouquet turned out!!!!!

Paper Bead Spray

I made these paper bead sprays using 24 gauge craft wire, and my hand rolled paper beads. I am going to use them in a mixed media project.

Garage Sale Finds

2 old keys. I paid $1.00 each for the keys
2 Watkins glass bottles. I paid $3.00 each for the bottles.
A box full of ribbon. I paid $3.00 for the whole box of ribbon.

Fishing Lure necklace

I made this FUN Summer necklace using paper beads, seed beads and a fishing lure. My DIL is the person that inspired me to use the fishing lure. I think it is a Cute Fun Idea. I just Love my new Fishing lure necklace. :). Just a note it is a little Tricky getting the 3 pronged fishing hook off of the lure, without poking your finger. Be Careful!!

Garage Sale Finds

My Garage Sale finds today. A Cigar Box, and some thread. I will alter the Cigar Box, and i will use the thread in a mixed media project! Fun Finds today!!!

Paper Bead Necklace

I am ready for a Summer Fun with my new paper bead necklace. I used purple paper beads, and seed beads, and 1 green paper bead for this project. The beads look pink in this pic, but the are purple. I am going to enjoy wearing this necklace :)

Secret Garden 5 x 7 Mixed Media Collage

For this Secret Garden 5 x 7 mixed media collage, I started with a water color background. I choose the colors blue and brown. I also used blue and brown water color on the tag behind the flower. I stamped the tag with time pieces, and distressed it with Vintage Photo distress Ink, and Walnut Ink Antiquing Solution. I tore a piece of paper from another collage that I made and put it under the tag, and tore a piece of paper and put it on top of that. I stained the edges of that piece of paper with alcohol ink, the color stream. I also added alcohol ink to the paper flower. The paper flower came from imaginisce. I added a key hole at the bottom, a butterfly at the top, and a key that says Secret on the right hand side.
I am happy with the way this collage turned out. :)
