Wilma, Wilma, Wilma this is the MOST Beautiful yarn I have ever seen in my life!! So very COLORFUL!!!!!!! Perfect for a fair isle mitten. I can hardly wait to start designing a mitten just for this yarn. I will use a bright white for the contrast color. It should just pop with the white next to it!! This yarn has yellow, orange, black, purple, and red!! A very fire-y mix. Just so perfect!! Thank You so very much Wilma!!!!!!!!!! :) Hand spun PERFECTLY!!!!!!!!
This is a story about the lives of the members of The Friday night Knitting Club. Ladies that meet everyFriday at a Yarn Shop, to knit, and to chat, and to become friends. You learn about the club members lives, hopes, and dreams. I can usually tell how a book is going to end after I read chapter 7, in any book. This book was different. I was surprised by the ending. Not all books have a happy ending where every one lives happily ever after, and this is one of those books. I am going to pass this book on to one of my dear knitting friends to read.
Where did I go wrong?? My only excuse is, I have been very , very busy the last few months, and have had not much time for knitting. I have 2 children getting married 21 days apart this summer. And I have been working on both weddings so much. Any way I did the toe area different on each sock. LOL I guess that I am not good at planning weddings, and knitting socks at the same time. I do like the pattern, and if I knit it again, I would knit the leg part longer, and I would make sure the toes matched!!! The pattern is called Faux Cable Socks, and I used Knit Picks yarn in the color tulip.

Want to see my dancing shoes??? Finally I have found a pair of shoes that I think I will be able to dance in at the weddings! I didn't want to high of a heel, so that I can still dance in them. And I didn't want a low heel because I didn't want to look like a dork! So this is what I settled for. I sure hope that I can dance in these shoes. I suppose that I should practice dancing in them at home, so that I don't break my leg at either one of the weddings!!
