A Good Day, A Very Good Day!!!

We went on a little road trip to Yankton, S.D. today. We had lunch at Bonanza, went to the Westside Park and toured the Dakota Territorial Museum. Then headed over to Riverside Park and I did a quick watercolor sketch of a portion of the  bridge that is in that park. We made out way over to Myron Grove and I put my feet in the Missouri River. It was a Good day! A very Good day!!!

Crest of the Wave Baktus Scarf

Ever since I started drawing and painting my knitting has slowed way down. I can not knit, and paint at the same time. But I always have a knitting project on the go. I keep it right next to my chair in the living room, and knit a row or two every day. I still Love and enjoy knitting very much. This is the Crest of the Wave Baktus scarf. I used Red Heart Heart & Sole yarn in the color Green Envy. I used 2 skeins for this scarf. The scarf is 66 inches long, and 13 inches wide in the middle at the longest point in the middle. I just love this scarf! :)

Zentangle Owl

A wise old owl sat on an oak; The more he saw the less he spoke; The less he spoke the more he heard; Why aren't we like that wise bird.
