My first pair of Toe up socks. They are not twins, but I am so very proud of them. I had a heck of a time with the cast on until I found one that worked good for me. I used Denise's toe up cast on. http://www.socknitters.com/toe-up/tulessonone.htm I LOVE it. Once I figured out how the cast on worked, it was smooth sailing after that. I used size 1 DPN and the size small for this sock. Knitting over 56 stitches is the perfect fit for me. The pattern for this sock can be found here http://www.straw.com/cpy/patterns2/socks/MMochi-waterfallsock.html I used On Your Toes sock yarn. This is a 4 ply sock yarn with Aloe Vera in the yarn. They feel wonderful on my feet. I would like to thank my Dear Knitting Friend Karen for helping me with the questions I had, about knitting my first toe up sock, and giving me the encouragement that I needed to finish these socks. I lov those socks!! Even more with Aloe Vera in the yarn. May have to try and find some and make a pair myself.
